Protagonists

Mountain is a 360 degrees passion, a profession, a mountaineering and working venture. Certainly Agostino Da Polenza is one among few protagonists of such ambient making mountaineering a company activity so wide and complex, having several implication, amongst which serving science and thus common welfare. As demonstration that the passion of a man can be fruitful to everyone.
 

He has just joined the Olympus of the very few men that have realized the extraordinary "run to the 8000s metre". But he is already famous in the world, and in Italy he is really beloved. Silvio Mondinelli, called the national "Gnaro", is not only a champion mountaineer. His overwhelming irony and the numerous extreme rescues on high altitude made of him an example of courage and humanity.
 

A life characterized by mountain, lived with unaffected and sincere passion. Michele Enzio, mountaineering from the Valsesia, is deeply attached to his mountains. After several expeditions abroad, among which those in Ecuador and New Zeeland, now he goes back to Himalaya to brave the Everest strictly without oxygen.
 

He is well known among young people, besides for his mountaineering venture, also for promoting mountain and sport. He has been six times on the world’s highest peaks, and nearly always he works in team with the king of 8000 metres, “Gnaro" Mondinelli, his big friend. Marco Confortola, champion of the Valtellina, is among the protagonists of the climb of Mount Everest.
 

He is an expert mountaineering, loves mountains and has dedicated his life to them. Especially he has translated his passions into practical contribution to others: Gian Pietro Verza, indeed, has almost always set out his expeditions for purposes higher than the simply personal challenge to the summit, such as for important scientific researches or for rescue in high altitude.
